Step 1 Nurturing the seedlings
Seed shell is quite thick and hard, you should soak it in cold water for 1-2 days. After that, take out and continue to soak in warm water for 1 hour with a temperature of about 50°C. Incubate seeds and continue in a damp cloth until germination.
The amount of seed to plant for 1 hectare is 50 - 60 grams (depending on germination). Sow evenly and sparsely, need to water to keep the soil moist 4-5 times, prune off the places that are too thick, the plants that grow weak. Seedlings have 5-6 true leaves, 6-8cm high, healthy, fat stems are uprooted and planted in the field.
After 2 months, eggplant can be harvested. About 3 days, you can pick one time and last for about 12-13 months, if well cared for, eggplant can completely bear fruit in 2-3 years.
